In her practice, Fanvin Shen enjoys the challenge of helping her clients through the immigration process. “Immigration laws are some of the most complicated laws to understand,” she says. “I am grateful for the opportunity to use my knowledge and skills to assist others in navigating the immigration system.” She believes that developing successful petitions requires a nuanced approach that requires keeping up-to-date with, and informing clients of, changes in policies and requirements. “I enjoy the process of putting together a persuasive work product that will ultimately have a significant impact on someone’s life.”
At FGI, Fanvin specializes in H-1B and L-1 visas for clients in the IT and automotive fields. She is also bringing her prior work experience with EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 NIW, and O-1 petitions, as well as I-485 applications, to assist her clients at FGI.
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and The George Washington University Law School, Fanvin has been admitted to the Utah and New York bars. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Outside of work, Fanvin enjoys skating, badminton, and visiting Ann Arbor on a regular basis.
