(MIA) has approved new regulations and a new form for address

The form now includes a field confirming the right to use the


New Regulations

In case of refusal of the address registration documents, an

official of the MIA or an employee of the post office/multi

functional center must now issue an official refusal notice listing

the specific grounds for refusal.

The grounds for refusal now include:

  • Violation of the requirements of the

    address registration form and its contents;

  • Unreadable or corrected text;
  • Missing mandatory documents;
  • Expiry of the foreign national's

    identity document.

Employers who may be affected are encouraged to contact an
