Christopher Ricotta sees his practice as an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the lives of others. As an Attorney for FGI, he believes that “employment immigration law enables me to bring economic opportunities to our corporate clients and their U.S. business partners, to achieve positive outcomes for their beneficiaries and families.” His commitment to immigration law began as a law student when he served in the Michigan State University Immigration Clinic and as a Managing Editor of the Michigan State Law Review. He invokes President John F. Kennedy’s famous quote to sum up his own personal philosophy: “everywhere immigrants have enriched and strengthened the fabric of American life.”
At FGI, Chris provides a range of services to our clients on employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant matters and has successfully guided our clients through various nuanced issues in the ever-changing landscape of legal immigration. He brings to FGI an impressive academic background with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a J.D. degree, all from Michigan State University.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys traveling and is an avid student of music. Chris is licensed with the Supreme Court of Michigan, is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and has been recognized as a Best Lawyers: One to Watch.
