Ph: 248-643-4900 (ext. 2015)
Ashley Morin brings to her practice as an attorney not only considerable experience at large-, medium-, and small-sized immigration law firms but also her long-held conviction on the important role that immigrants play in our economy. “I think immigration is a large part of what drives innovation in America and that immigrants have so much to contribute,” she says.
At FGI, Ashley works primarily with clients in the IT domain. She possesses a wealth of experience with H-1Bs, L-1s, employment-based immigration (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3), Adjustment of Status, Advanced Parole, and Employment Authorization Documents that she acquired working for law firms in Chicago and the metro-Detroit area. Moreover, she is also a passionate advocate for her clients. “In today’s uncertain immigration climate,” she says, “clients need to know that you have their back. Knowing the law is not enough. I strive to make sure every client knows that I am in their corner and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.”
A graduate of Loyola University Chicago and the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Ashley is a member of the Illinois State Bar and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She enjoys travel, especially in the Caribbean (Aruba, Cayman Islands, the US Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas), Mexico, and Europe (England, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein). In her spare time, she also likes to ride her two horses, hike with her three dogs, and garden. Asked to summarize her approach to immigration law, Ashley says that “with every person I am able to assist in coming to the U.S., I feel that I am doing a small part in helping businesses to grow and prosper.”
