The UAE Cabinet enacted a decree that will allow Indian passport holders with a valid United States green card or visa, with a minimum of 6 months validity, to obtain a UAE visa on arrival, valid for 14 days. The visa can be further extended for an additional 14 days. Indian passport holders with a U.S. Tourist Visa or Business Visa are not eligible to be used to secure a Visa on Arrival.
Previously, Indian nationals holding a valid U.S. green card or visa had to obtain an entry visa. Currently, nationals of 47 countries are able to enter the UAE and obtain a visa on arrival.
