U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has announced that on January 1, 2018, it must dispose of E-Verify records that are over 10 years old (records dated on or before December 31, 2007). E-Verify employers have until December 31, 2017 to download case information from the “Historic Records Report” if they want to retain information about each E-Verify case that will be purged.
