Desiree Schulz brings to her position as FGI’s Manager of Global Operations and Regional Problem Manager of Western Europe, North America, and South America a fascination with global mobility and a long-term commitment to offering our clients with peerless support. “My number one goal for each client,” she says, “is that they feel they have a solid partnership with FGI and myself. I want them to know that I am looking out for their company’s and their workers’ best interest in every aspect of the immigration process.”
With an extensive background in business operations, human resources, and program management, Desiree has helped FGI’s global clientele in the IT, automotive, and healthcare fields to achieve their immigration goals with the constraints of scope, timing, compliance, quality and budget. She has been especially involved in the Canadian immigration process and has helped numerous FGI company clients to transfer their skilled workers there.
She earned a double bachelors degree in Marketing and Advertising from Michigan State University, where she first developed an interest in global cultures, studying how corporations restructure their ad campaigns in foreign countries. After extensive travel in Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean, Desiree committed herself to a career in global mobility where she has mastered the visa processes for numerous countries in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. She is also a member of the Michigan Chapter of the French-American Chamber of Commerce, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Forum for Expatriate Management, and MICHauto. She enjoying cooking, physical fitness, and spending her time with her husband, two children and two dogs.
