Catherine Nasr’s commitment to immigration law stems from her personal history. As the child of Egyptian immigrants, she grew up believing in the American Dream and the possibilities it offered to her. “I believe every person who wants to achieve their passions is afforded the same opportunity.”
At FGI, Catherine worked with H-1B cases for our information technology (IT) clients. She brings a client-centered focus to her practice. As she says, “I will do everything in my capacity to try and ensure that each of my clients is given a chance to achieve their professional goals.”

A graduate of Wayne State University, with a B.A. in Romance Languages (Spanish) and a J.D., Catherine is a member of the Michigan Bar and enjoys reading, traveling, and especially the Detroit Pistons. Her personal philosophy to immigration law can be summed up by a quote from Woodrow Wilson, “we came to America, either ourselves or in the persons of our ancestors, to better the ideals of men, to make them see finer things that they had seen before, to get rid of the things that divide and to make sure of the things that unite.”
